Magnus Theatre will be presenting “This is How We Got Here” from October 24 to November 9, 2019. It is a heart-wrenching drama about a family dealing with loss, and working to maintain the ties that keep them together. This is by Northwestern Ontario Playwright Keith Barker who was shortlisted for the 2018 Governor General’s Literary Award for Drama.
The vision of Magnus Theatre board members and staff, along with the support and nurturing Magnus receives from individuals and businesses in the community, has made Magnus one of the most successful theatre companies in Canada. The theatre now employs up to 60 artists a year, including actors, directors and designers. Also, in the proud tradition of local support, Magnus has a volunteer base of over 250 individuals, which includes a dedicated and resourceful Board of Directors.
OA is proud to be associated with Magnus Theatre, and is sponsoring it at the Silver Community Partner level for a season that is proving to be an experience to remember.
