O'Neill Associates

A DYNAMIC ALLIANCE

O’Neill Associates is very proud to announce that Hayley Yorke has become a partner in our law firm effective January 1, 2025.  Hayley represents management in all aspects of labour relations including matters at Grievance Arbitration, and the Labour Relations Board, as well as the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal (HRTO).  In recent years, she has built a robust reputation as a fair-minded independent investigator for workplace investigations, and has been referred by and to many organizations throughout our region.

With the addition of Hayley as a partner in the firm, O’Neill Associates firm has become an LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) effective January 1, 2025.  What does this mean? Briefly:

  • As an LLP, the Partnership now carries on a degree of limited liability
  • The partners are not personally liable for negligent acts of other partners/employees
  • Each partner is personally liable for their own actions, and the actions of those they directly supervise
  • The partnership remains liable for the negligence of its partners and employees.

This does not at all change our relationship with our valued clients.  We will provide effective representation and consultation, protecting your rights and interests while helping you navigate through complex legal frameworks.

The firm continues its tradition of bringing Employers the perfect blend of proven experience and innovative new ideas needed to maintain stability and productivity in the face of a broad spectrum of workplace issues.
